When you need to remove the buttons, just turn them counter-clockwise and they are out.
The turning fuel gauge does not lock into the carton due to the different shape, but is made to fit exactly into the slot and not look light.
The main problem with the unwanted movement of the height and airport tiles is solved by a holder/pad that you put on the game board once and it stays there.
No more losing track of approach and height or misplacing aircraft tokens when moving the board. You can even leave the height indicator in the box when you put the board in the box, which is used in all missions, so it takes one more thing to prepare for the next game.

1 holder for height and approach indicators
